In compliance with art. 13 of the Legislative Decree 196/03: Personal Data Protection Code, the Venice International Film Critics’ Week (hereinafter “SIC) aims to inform users of its website www.sicvenezia.it of the policy adopted for the protection of personal data, and to highlight the Company’s commitment and attention to safeguarding the privacy of its website’s visitors.

This website may be navigated freely and without registration, with the exception of certain areas, in which users are expressly required to supply a series of personal data in order to access specific services selected by the user, as contact form or newsletter subscription.  Pursuant to  art. 13 of legislative degree 196/03 – Code for the Protection of Personal Data – should users agree to supply their personal data to access said services, they will be expressly informed of the data processing purposes and methods adopted by SIC and of users’ rights to request at any time the modification, cancellation or updating of their data.

Navigation data

The information systems and software procedures relied upon to operate this web site acquire personal data as part of their standard functioning. The transmission of such data is an inherent feature of Internet communication protocols.

Contact form and newsletter

The contact form that could be found on this website is ment to make website visitors able to contact, SIC whenever they want it, by sending an email to the website’s owner via that form and accepting the processing of personal data reported in the contact form page and confirmed by checking the box “I accept the privacy policy.”
SIC informs you that the data that you give voluntarily via the form will be transformed into an email that will eventually be stored inside the email receiving system used by the manager of the website.
Data sent by you will be used at the only purpose of eventually contact you back by the referernces given by you via the contact form to answer question or give information asked by you and sent with the contact form found on the website. These data will not be recordered on any other support or device, and will not be disclosed to third parties for other purposes.
Moreover, SIC uses Mailchimp services to provided by Mailchimp for voluntary registration and sending periodic newsletters about news and events.

Freedom to supply data

As well as for the above-mentioned navigation-related requirements, users are free to supply their personal data to Studio Archipass in order to receive marketing material or other communications. In a few cases, failure to provide their personal data may result in users being unable to access specific services or to obtain what they have requested.

Personal data are processed by automatic means for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected, including their modification or cancellation on the part of their owner.
