Biography

Nato a Roma nel 1952, è giornalista e critico cinematografico. Scrive regolarmente per il quotidiano La Repubblica e per una serie di pubblicazioni di settore come Il giornale dello spettacolo, Vivilcinema, Ciak, Cinema & Video International. È presidente del Sindacato Nazionale Critici Cinematografici Italiani e dell’associazione Made in Italy, da anni impegnata nella promozione del cinema italiano all’estero. Si occupa in particolare di produzione nazionale ed ha pubblicato alcuni volumi: I novissimi edito dalla Eri; una biografia di Carlo Verdone per Gremese Editore ed una di Luigi Magni per la Eri. Ha anche curato il volume Il cinema italiano del terzo millennio pubblicato da Lindau e Gian Maria Volontè – Lo sguardo ribelle per Fandango Libri.

Biography

Journalist and film critic, Nazzaro writes for Il Manifesto, Film TV and MicroMega. He published several books and essays and curated several retrospectives on Thomas Heise, Ross McElwee, Kevin J. Everson among others. He collaborated with the Festival dei Popoli, Turin Film Festival and the Rome International Film Festival.

Luigi Abiusi

Biography

Writer and a critic on film and literature, Abiusi manages the film culture magazine Uzak.it and writes for Filmcritica, Duels.it, Filmparlato.com, Critica letteraria and Alias, and collaborates with Treccani. He teaches film and literature at the Bari University. As a poet he published Non un segno and Dei comprimari riflessi.

Alberto Anile

Alberto Anile

Biography

Journalist and film critic, Anile wrote on Rossellini, Totò and Welles. His essays were published on Bianco e Nero, Cabiria, Cinecritica and Film History. His latest books are Orson Welles in Italy (North American edition of the book already published by Castoro in 2006), Operazione Gattopardo (with Maria Gabriella Giannice) and L’Otello senz’acca.

Beatrice Fiorentino

Beatrice Fiorentino

Biography

Journalist and film critic, Fiorentino writes for the daily Il Piccolo and other online publications. Since 2008 she collaborates with the University of Koper where she teaches cinematographic and audiovisual language. Since 2015 she curates the New Imprints section at the ShorTS – International Film Festival and is a member of the “Films of the Critics’” Commission of the National Union of Italian Film Critics’.

Massimo Tria

Massimo Tria

Biografia

Tria is a film critic and a specialist in Slavic studies. He co-founded the film forum “Ezechiele 25,17” and writes for the Cabiria – Studi di cinema journal. He worked for Trieste Film Festival and the Fiesole Prize for Masters of Cinema. He wrote and co-edited several publications on Slavic cultures, particularly on the relationship between culture and totalitarian regimes.
