Beatrice Fiorentino
General Delegate
Journalist, author and film critic, she writes for the newspapers Il Manifesto and Il Piccolo, for 8 e ½ magazine and Cinecittà News. She taught film and audiovisual language at the University of Primorska and currently is a university lecturer in Semiology of Cinema and Audiovisuals at the University of Trieste. Since 2015 she curates the Nuove Impronte section at ShorTS-International Film Festival. She received the Premio Akai for best film critic at the 71st Venice International Film Festival. She is a member of the committee for the Film della Critica by the National Union of Italian Film Critics. Since 2016 she is part of the selection committee of the Venice Settimana Internazionale della Critica, of which she became general delegate in 2020. She is member of the European Film Academy and of the Accademia del Cinema Italiano – David di Donatello awards.
Enrico Azzano
Azzano is a Film Critic, managing editor of Quinlan, and member of the selection committee at the Trento Film Festival. He curated the publications Nihon Eiga. History of Japanese Cinema 1970 – 2010 and 1945 – 1969 and the monography Satoshi Kon. Cinema through the mirror and Studio Ghibli. utopic and Marvelous animation of Miyazaki and Takahata. He also participated in collective publications about Tsukamoto, Lumet, Shymala, Rob Zombie, Ridley Scott and sci-fi and animation cinema
Chiara Borroni
Film critic and journalist, Borroni teaches film criticism at the University of Turin; she is editor of Cineforum magazine and regularly contributes to Il Mereghetti – Dizionario dei film. She collaborates with festivals and cultural institutions as curator, project designer and programmer. She is also editor consultant for film productions.
Ilaria Feole
Feole writes on film and television for the weekly Film TV. She authored Wes Anderson – Genitori, figli e altri animali (Bietti, 2014), Michele Soavi – Cinema e televisione (Bietti, 2018) and C’era una volta in America di Sergio Leone (Gremese, 2018). She also worked on Tutto Fellini (Gremese, 2019) and Architetture del desiderio – Il cinema di Céline Sciamma (Asterisco, 2021).
Federico Pedroni
Pedroni works at Rai Cinema and was film programmer at the Torino Film Festival from 2007 to 2019. He writes on Cineforum and Duels.it, among others. He curated the film essay anthologies dedicated to Mike Leigh and Aki Kaurismäki for Feltrinelli publishing. He translated the volume Paul Newman: A Life and worked on the Italian edition of Mark Cousins’ The Story of Film, in collaboration with Emiliano Morreale. He edited the books Alba Rohrwacher. L’acrobata del cinema italiano (2019) and Jasmine Trinca. Uno sguardo altro (2021).
