Lorenzo Quagliozzi (1999) is a self-taught filmmaker. After graduating from high school, he interned on the sets of The New Pope by Paolo Sorrentino and Esterno Notte by Marco Bellocchio. Between 2018 and 2019, he curated the audiovisual footage of the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rome, and worked as archive footage researcher for Giuseppe Tornatore’s documentary Ennio. After shooting Illusione (2020) and Il mio cuore è vuoto come uno specchio – the Odessa episode (2022), he won the Nastro d’Argento 2024 for Best Short Film with De l’amour perdu. ARCA is his fourth short feature.
