HARIEL is an Italian collective of AI filmmakers. Founded by Pietro Lafiandra, Flavio Pizzorno, and Andrea Rossini, HARIEL explores the new aesthetics informed by closed-source e open-source generative models. Their humanist manifesto for an AI-generated cinema, published on 1 April 2025, constitutes the first attempt to formalise a cultorological approach to algorithmic images.
