Matteo Burani (1990) is an Italian stop-motion director. His experience in the field began in 2010, when he founded Studio Croma. He began his career as a self-taught puppet maker and character designer working on several stop motion projects over the years. Experimenting with different artistic languages in the field of animation, he began to direct music videos, commercials and short films, including Playing God. He currently supervises the puppets department and is responsible for the direction and screenwriting of Studio Croma projects.
