Tommaso Frangini (1993) is a director based in Milan. In 2016, he worked as assistant director to Andrea Pallaoro on the set of Hannah, for which Charlotte Rampling won the Coppa Volpi award at the Venice Film Festival. In 2020 he completed a Master of Fine Arts in Film Directing at the California Institute of the Arts – CalArts in Los Angeles. His short film Finis Terrae was selected to compete at the Settimana della Critica during the 77. Venice International Film Festival, where it was awarded the Premio FEDIC for Best Short Film, and later went on to win the Premio Ermanno Olmi Award. Produced by Rosso Film, Group Picture is his latest work.
